KIND Signed an MOU with KRIHS 2022-04-20

□ Korea Overseas Infrastructure and Urban Development Corporation (KIND) and Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements (KRIHS) have signed an MOU for cooperation in overseas infrastructure/urban development and business consultation and support for domestic SMEs to enter overseas businesses.

□ The event was held on April 8 at the KIND office in Yeouido, Seoul, and the two organizations signed an ‘Agreement on overseas infrastructure and urban development, consulting, and business cooperation’. The signing ceremony was attended by KIND CEO Kang Hoon Lee, KRIHS President Hyun-Soo Kang and other officials.
 

□ Through this agreement, the two organizations agreed to further strengthen cooperation in overseas business areas such as sharing information, consulting, and joint research related to overseas infrastructure and urban development projects including Smart City. Specifically, the two organizations plan to promote diverse cooperation by jointly participating in domestic consulting projects such as the Economic Innovation Partnership Program (EIPP) and the K-City Network Program, operating global training programs, finding overseas investment projects, supporting F/S and financing methods for SMEs.

□ The two organizations are currently carrying out various policy research projects, and this agreement was carried forward to establish a cooperation system under the shared goal of "support for Korean companies' overseas business advancement."

□ "Through the MOU with KRIHS, a positive synergy is expected to be exerted through cooperation between the two organizations in terms of expanding new overseas businesses," and "We will provide effective support for our companies' overseas expansion by linking know-how in overseas infrastructure and urban development," said the CEO of KIND.
