My name is Kim Bokhwan, CEO of the Korea Overseas Infrastructure & Urban Development Corporation (KIND).

It is my great pleasure to extend a warm welcome to all our visitors.

Established in 2018, KIND has been at the forefront of facilitating overseas infrastructure and urban development projects. By leading G2G cooperation and fostering a strong “One Team Korea” through public-private partnerships, we aim to position Korea as a global leader in the international construction market.

KIND is serving as a leader in discovering and supporting infrastructure and urban development projects with the world as its stage to become “A reliable companion for global infrastructure development”. Especially, we are playing a pivotal role as the center and strategic investor of One Team Korea to expand the global reach of Korean companies in overseas PPPs to overseas PPPs and enhance overseas contracting performances.

Led by KIND and composed of Korean construction companies, public institutions, and financial institutions, One Team Korea participates in all stages of overseas PPPs from project planning to discovery and development, financial support, and operation and management (O&M), with KIND targeting the overseas PPP market alongside Korean companies.

Despite challenges posed by the global economic slowdown and a rapidly shifting, KIND will strengthen professional competence in overseas PPP and establish a close cooperation system with Korean and overseas companies along with related institutions to strengthen the contracting competitiveness of Korean companies for overseas construction projects.

Looking ahead, we aim to enhance our business development platform by promoting of G2G cooperation, supporting industries poised for future growth, and making investments in brownfield sites. Additionally, we will improve our ESG management to gain competitiveness in line with global trends, thereby strengthening our commitment to socially responsible management.

Finally, by establishing a transparent organizational culture based on communication and participation along with organizational management based on integrity and transparency, we will strive to become the best partner and an excellent public corporation for overseas PPPs relied on by related institutions and business partners.
